12 Mar Knowledgepool achieves certification to ISO 27001
KnowledgePool, the world’s leading managed learning services provider, has achieved certification to the IT Security Management standard ISO/IEC 27001:2005.
The standard, awarded by leading certification specialist SGS, signals KnowledgePool’s commitment to ensuring security of all its data, and accompanies the growth in large managed learning contracts now being delivered for major organisations such as Aviva, BNP Paribas and Fujitsu. The ISO27001 accreditation was awarded in 2011, in addition to the long-held ISO9001 certification, KnowledgePool now receives regular six-monthly audits to ensure standards continue to be met.
ISO27001 is designed to preserve the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. Nick Long, Business Systems Director at KnowledgePool said “Achieving ISO27001 gives our customers confidence that their data is secure in our hands and that our processes and systems are independently audited to international standards. We are one of the few training companies to be accredited to this standard.”
