KnowledgePool, the leading independent learning services company, will be previewing a new suite of software and supporting services which is designed to significantly improve the return on HRD investment, at HRD 2005. Called KnowledgePool High Performance, the suite integrates talent management, performance management, skills management, training management, purchase and administration for the first time. It enables organisations with large numbers of staff and diverse training needs to use technology to measure employee job knowledge, skills and competencies and then select and administer training and learning activities without the need to purchase, modify and integrate a learning management system (LMS), separate tools or services. The solution is an integration of market-proven, internet-based software systems with optional KnowledgePool specialist learning support services. It provides employee skills audits and skills gap analyses to create complete training and development plans for individuals. It also enables organisations to identify talent pools, track career aspirations, match capabilities to job requirements and conduct succession planning around key positions. Having established training and learning needs, the KnowledgePool Livebooker component then enables client training administrators, or employees, to search and book courses, (in-house, third party or online), with support for authorisation and notification processes electronically. This process can be completed via the portal or with help-desk support from an experienced team of KnowledgePool training advisers. KnowledgePool Livebooker sends delegates joining instructions, reminders and feedback requests by e-mail automatically and offers a wide range of editable reports on expenditure, attendance, quality and evaluation.
